Description
A young woman, drenched and claiming to be a princess, arrives at the castle during a storm. The queen tests her by placing a pea under twenty mattresses and twenty eiderdown quilts to see if she can feel it. The princess’s complaint the next morning that she couldn’t sleep because of something hard in the bed proves her royal sensitivity, and the prince marries her.
