Description
Introduces Detective Chief Inspector Jane Tennison as she investigates the murder of a prostitute. The initial suspect, George Marlow, is quickly identified through DNA evidence, but Tennison suspects he’s not the real killer and faces opposition from her male colleagues who doubt her abilities and judgment. As she delves deeper, a second murder occurs, and Tennison must fight against the sexism within the police force and the dangerous criminal on the loose to prove herself and solve the case.
