Description
Tells the story of Louisa “Lou” Clark, a young woman who takes a job as a caregiver for Will Traynor, a wealthy, successful man left paralyzed after an accident. Will is deeply depressed and has decided to end his life through assisted suicide in Switzerland. Lou, initially hired to help him through this difficult time, ends up showing him that life is still worth living. Their relationship deepens, but ultimately, Will remains determined to follow through with his plans, leaving Lou to grapple with grief and the difficult ethical questions the story presents.
