Description
A multigenerational family saga that explores themes of identity, belonging, and the meaning of home, particularly for Puerto Rican women living in the diaspora. The story follows three generations of women: Rafaela, who leaves Puerto Rico for the American Midwest; her daughter Ruth, who tries to assimilate in the US; and Ruth’s daughter Daisy, who returns to Puerto Rico. When Daisy is critically injured in a hurricane, the family reunites in San Juan, forcing them to confront their past and the choices that have shaped their lives.
